I can't believe it is already August 1st?! Where has the summer gone? But what's bothering me most is that I'd wanted to have another book published before Christmas and at the rate I'm going...I'm not sure.
Still writing my third book in the Oyster Point Mystery Series. For a while I was floundering trying to figure out where my story and characters were going...and then, one day...I knew! I had a lot going on at that time...deaths and losses to deal with and so my mind was distracted. And, as we all know, if you can't focus, the writing muse does not visit. But Jack and Jamie are front and center as are Clyde and Kat. The story has already taken a strange plot twist.
The sequel to Treacherous Waters is also well on it's way. Sabrina and Nick are in Paris trying to weed out the characters to see who could be an art thief. Is it one of these...or maybe someone else in the shadows. But more importantly, they are trying to see if their life together could work...backgrounds are always the problem.
One piece I have written is a Christmas story; hopefully it will be placed in my publisher's Christmas anthology!! So I have been working.
I'll be heading down to Cape Cod in September to do some writing and a lot of painting. Many of my works are selling in the Gallery that carries my paintings and I love that people pick one of my beach paintings to take home and hang on their walls. I could paint at the beach forever.
